Concert on the Compenius Organ
Experience the music from Christian IV’s court come to life in the Frederiksborg Castle Church. Book an exclusive 30-minute concert on the world-famous Compenius Organ in Frederiksborg Castle Church. The organ dates back to 1610 and has survived fires, looting, and destruction over the centuries. The instrument, therefore, provides a living impression of the music in the 1600s as it would have sounded at the Danish court.
A concert can be booked alone or in combination with a special tour. As part of the concert, an introduction to the organ’s history and the technique behind the instrument is provided.
The musical experience costs DKK 2500 plus regular museum admission.
