During Easter, we open the doors to a world of mythical stories. Let yourself be inspired by artist Rasmus Myrup's mythological figures and the museum's historical artworks – and become the creator of a completely new being.
Special exhibition: Rasmus Myrup
Frederiksborg presents one of the most sought-after Danish artists of our time, Rasmus Myrup (born 1991), in a solo exhibition where he engages in dialogue with the museum’s historical works. Myrup’s sculptures give form to both well-known and lesser-known figures rooted in Norse mythology and folk legends, allowing them to encounter our world as it is today. They take on human shapes – often based on materials found at the origin of the myth or legend. The exhibition consists of 16 sculptures placed at selected locations throughout the museum.

Sketch like a true artist!
Grab a drawing board, a pencil, and a sketch sheet with exercises, then explore Myrup’s sculptures throughout the museum! Feel free to bring your finished sketch as inspiration for the Easter holiday’s other workshop – the sculpture workshop!

Wondrous Wild Creatures – Sculpture Workshop
In our creative workshops, you can bring your own sculpture to life using natural materials, yarn, and fabric. Will your creature be friendly or spooky? Beautiful or wild? Only your imagination sets the limits. Find the sculpture workshop on the grass next to Rabarbergaarden Slottet.
When: The sculpture workshop is open every day from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Easter on the Table
Enjoy an Easter menu at Rabarbergaarden Slottet! The menu features both eggs and lamb and is available every day from Saturday, April 5, through Easter Monday.

Spring in the Castle Gardens
Take a walk around the Castle Lake or enjoy a stroll through the Castle Gardens. See hundreds of crocuses and daffodils blooming across the vast lawns near the Baroque Garden, while in the English-inspired landscape garden, spring awakens around the Bath House Castle and the small lakes.
