Silent disco, taste experiences, slow looking, and a royal heraldic painter. Experience Frederiksborg with all your senses.
Join an atmospheric Culture Night at Frederiksborg! The castle opens up for an experience beyond the ordinary. Explore in the twilight, and let history unfold through light, sound, scent, and taste.
At Rabarbergaarden Slottet, you’ll find seed bombs and insect hotels, as well as the chance to challenge your taste buds. The royal heraldic painter will talk about coats of arms in the Castle Chapel, where the Compenius organ will also be presented and the boys’ choir will perform. Pull the threads in the Great Hall, where the museum’s researchers share insights into the upcoming tapestry exhibition, and try slow looking in the Princess Wing! Begin (if you’re a child) or end with a quiet bang of a party, when the inner courtyard turns into a silent disco with the most popular beats of today.
