In the Groove
From the Smithsonian in Washington DC, the Museum has been given the opportunity to showcase a selection of the famous photographer Herman Leonard's outstanding portraits of a series of 20th-century greatest American jazz musicians.
Kasper Eistrup – Fragmentarium
Kasper Eistrup, known as former singer and guitarist in the Danish band Kashmir, has now devoted himself to the arts. For the Museum he has painted a new portrait of HRH Crown Prince Frederik.
In the fall you can experience a portrait exhibition with the Chinese artist Chen Chengwei.

On June 15th, 1219 the Danish flag, Dannebrog, appeared on the sky over Lyndanisse in Estonia. Here Valdemar 2. was in the middle of battle against the Estonian pagans.
